Christmas Day in Margao
After lunch we did a little shopping - a quarter kilo of dried Kashmiri chillies, some tangerines & fresh yogurt
for Boxing Day breakfast, an emergency bottle of Indian red wine & some of Goa's finest cashew nuts

kismur, basmati rice & papad accompanied by Kashmiri peas & local port
Boxing Day
Our street back to normal / The leafy garden at Venice restaurant is a pleasant place for lunch
(if you can put up with repeatedly hearing a Boney M compilation...)
Lunch of fried Goan sausages & chilli fried chicken livers with a strong beer (8% v/v) / A large pile of dried red chillies in the covered market
