Personal welcome at our hotel in Hué / Enjoying a G & T aperitif
Whilst visiting the ancient village of Phuoc Tich we happened upon a betrothal ceremony
between two families in one of the old clan houses and were asked to pose with the young couple

Hotel room in Ninh Binh which looks great but was actually quite run down, with an uncomfortable bed &
rather basic restaurant. We were the only guests.
